Powering a Greener Future for Nepal

Prozeal Green Energy Limited, a leader in green energy from India, and Golyan Power Limited, a premier corporate group in Nepal, have signed a joint venture to revolutionize Nepal's energy landscape. Together, the two companies will develop over 500 MW of solar energy projects, including rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic (PV) solar plants, across multiple locations in Nepal over the next 18 months.

This joint venture between Prozeal Green Energy Nepal Pvt. Ltd. (60% stake) and Golyan Group (40% stake) reflects the companies' shared vision for a sustainable and decarbonized future.

A Joint Vision for a Solar-Powered Nepal

The primary goal of this JV is to harness Nepal's immense solar potential and deliver clean, sustainable energy solutions. The projects will cater to both Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Commercial & Industrial consumers, contributing to Nepal’s growing renewable energy sector.

As part of this agreement, Prozeal Green Energy will act as the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) lead, leveraging its vast expertise in renewable energy projects. Golyan Group will focus on business development, land acquisition, and financing, further strengthening the partnership.

Solar Power: Energizing Nepal's Future

The 500 MW solar power project will be a cornerstone of Nepal’s shift toward clean energy. By providing renewable energy to industrial and commercial consumers, as well as the national grid, the JV will accelerate Nepal’s path to sustainability and energy independence.

As the demand for clean energy increases, this joint venture will position both companies as frontrunners in the renewable energy sector across South Asia.

Leadership Perspectives

“This joint venture between Prozeal Green Energy and Golyan Group represents a powerful alliance between Nepal and India. Together, we’re setting new benchmarks for clean energy and sustainability in Nepal.”
Shobit Rai, Director, Prozeal Green Energy

“Nepal is growing rapidly in the renewable energy sector, and I am confident that this partnership will open up new avenues for both entities.”
Akshay Golyan, Director, Golyan Power
