Execution:
Handling the engineering, procurement, project management, and site construction in such a short period of time was a complex initiative. COVID-19 and the safety protocols added to the challenges in mobilization of team, timely procurement of material (while state borders are closed) and on-ground precautions.
True to the spirit of our company, the team would not let anything eclipse their progress.
We hired more than 150 man power including Engineers, third party contractors and labourers to complete this project.
Techology:
We have used dry cleaning system (Automatic Robotic System) to clean the solar panels, by doing this we have saved minimum 2.2Crore Liters of water annually.
Impact:
From this solar plant we save 1,50,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, which is equivalent to saving of more than 21,429 nos of trees.
The 75 megawatts Solar Power Plant generates 115 MU (Million units) of electricity annually and exported to the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu since January 22nd 2021.
It is Largest Group Captive Project in Tamil Nadu for one of the largest automobile manufacturers ‘s commitment to adopt clean green energy and putting up a solar power plant in a single location in an unassuming part of southern India.
