Prozeal Green Energy, a Gujarat-based renewable energy solutions provider, on Thursday said it has secured a contract worth over ₹2,000 crore from ONGC for the development of 250 megawatt (MW) of captive wind power projects connected to the interstate transmission system (ISTS).
The IPO-bound company announced in a LinkedIn post that it had received a notification of award from ONGC for the project, marking its entry into the utility-scale wind energy segment.
"For one of the nation's energy giants to entrust Prozeal with its captive renewable ambitions is a powerful endorsement of the company's engineering depth, execution capability, and the trust it has built across the sector," the company said in the post.
The mandate includes end-to-end project execution as well as a comprehensive operations and maintenance contract for a period of 10 years.
The project is expected to expand Prozeal's renewable energy portfolio as it prepares for a public listing, it added.
