Prozeal Green Energy Appoints Abhay Vishwakarma As COO to Lead Project Portfolio Expansion

In his new role, Vishwakarma will be responsible for overseeing the company's project portfolio, including development and execution activities.

Prozeal Green Energy has appointed Abhay K. Vishwakarma as Chief Operating Officer, strengthening its leadership team as it expands its independent power producer (IPP) and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) businesses across domestic and international markets.

In his new role, Vishwakarma will be responsible for overseeing the company's project portfolio, including development and execution activities across India as well as overseas operations. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with exposure to projects across India, Southeast Asia and Latin America.

Multiple Functions

Over the course of his career, he has worked across multiple functions, including project development, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, technical due diligence and construction management.

The appointment is aimed at strengthening Prozeal's operational capabilities in both IPP and EPC segments, as the company looks to scale its footprint and pursue growth opportunities in international markets.

Expanding Footprints

Prozeal Green Energy has been expanding its presence in India's renewable energy sector through a mix of EPC execution and IPP-led project development, with a growing pipeline of solar and hybrid projects. The company has recently secured and executed multiple utility-scale and commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects, strengthening its order book and execution track record.

It has also been focusing on diversifying into new geographies and strengthening its capabilities in large-scale project delivery, as demand for renewable energy continues to rise across emerging markets. The company's recent progress reflects a broader push to position itself as an integrated player across project development, engineering and long-term asset management.
